Milton Keynes University Hospital – Road closure for 7 weeks

We have been asked to send out an alert to advise you about a road closure starting next week at Milton Keynes University Hospital. There are also two files attached to this alert which will give you more information about the works taking place, and a link to the hospital website.

Milton Keynes University Hospital will temporarily be closing a section of the ring road that runs around the north of the hospital site. This will be to allow for our building contractors to bring materials onto site for the construction of our new multi-storey car park.

The road with be closed from Monday 5 February for a maximum of seven weeks. There will be no change in access to any of the car parks and advanced notification signs are currently in place to advise visitors. Members of our security team will further be on hand during the first few days to manage the flow of traffic and support with any questions.

Please find attached a briefing document containing further information – this can also be found on our website here. Please can you share this information across your organisation through your various channels? I have further attached a map of the hospital site illustrating where the partial closure is located which you are also able to share.

If you have any questions regarding the closure, please contact developments@mkuh.nhs.uk
