Policies are the written documents that set out how the Parish Council operates and how decisions are made. They establish the rules, procedures, and standards that guide the Council’s work and help ensure consistency, fairness, and transparency.

All policies are formally approved by the Parish Council at a Council meeting and are reviewed periodically to ensure they remain current and relevant. Where appropriate, policies are published so residents can understand how the Council works and how decisions are made.
If you have any questions about a specific policy, please contact the Parish Clerk, clerk@oldwoughton.org.uk, who will be happy to help.
