Patch Allotment Open Day

ALLOTMENT OPEN DAY – SATURDAY 16TH JULY

A chance, from ten until four o’clock, to catch up with the latest developments on The Patch Allotments.  Pick up ideas for your own gardening aspirations, from the best of conventional to the plain quirky but effective.

The beehives are now comfortably settled into their apiary and the bees are busily engaged in finding and pollenating the start of this year’s crops of vegetables, fruit, flowers and lots more.

The hens range freely and supply a steady flow of fresh eggs.  The Shop is fully stocked with the essentials that help keep dedicated plot holders on their seasonal track.

There’ll be refreshments throughout the day – FREE until THREE!  That’s hot & cold drinks of choice with nibbles, cakes, biscuits, and salad with barbequed sausages and burgers; all while stocks last, so come early for an alfresco lunchtime experience PAA-style – a glass of your own wine is welcome at your own discretion.

And, new this year, the PAA will be offering guided allotment tours spread through the day, when guests and visitors can savour the stories behind the event’s happenings on the allotments in your community – see you on Saturday 16 July?
