80th VE Day Anniversary Celebrations

On 8 May 2025, we mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, our Parish, along with the nation, Europe and the world, will unite to celebrate 80 years of peace since the end of World War II in Europe. Celebrate the anniversary with us a a fun-filled evening at St Mary’s Church with (optional!) 40s/50s Vintage Dress to Impress!
The order of events for the evening is as follows:
6-9PM Fish & Chips courtesy of the Woughton House Hotel

6:30PM Church Bells Ring in celebration
7PM VE Day Hymn ‘I vow to thee my country’
7:15-9PM Live Vintage Jazz from Sarah Jones
PLUS bake and share a cake! Teas, coffees and refreshements also available.
LIMITED PARKING AVAILABLE – please walk and/or share transport if you can. Overflow parking is available in the immediate entrance to the Woughton House Hotel. Please be respectful of residents.
