War Memorial Restoration
The Parish Council have instructed a local stone mason to clean, repair and restore the WWI memorial outside St Marys Church in Woughton on the Green. All Parish Councils are responsible for the upkeep of any war memorials in their parish, so this is an important task for us to undertake. The work will be completed over the summer.
Update:
This has now been cleaned beautifully and the letters refurbished as necessary. The Memorial was rededicated at the Remembrance Service held in November.
