Milton Keynes Blue Light and Community Fun Day
Taking place on Thursday 30 July 11.00am – 2.00pm at Conniburrow Community Field, Conniburrow Boulevard, MK14 7DX. Organised by the Council’s Community Safety Team in partnership with Great Linford Parish Council and local emergency services, this free event aims to educate and inform residents about the vital work of the emergency services. Attendees will be able to meet the teams that help keep our communities safe, learn how they respond to incidents and support the public, pick up useful safety information, and see the police horses.
The event will also feature a variety of information stalls from City Council teams, as well as organisations including SUEZ, The Parks Trust, Network Rail, Crimestoppers, Dott* and other community partners. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to learn essential lifesaving skills through defibrillator awareness sessions with the ‘South Central Ambulance Service’. These interactive sessions will provide practical guidance on how to respond confidently in emergency situations.
With a range of activities, and opportunities to engage with local services, there will be something for all ages to enjoy. We look forward to welcoming residents for an informative, and engaging community event.
On-site parking at the event venue is limited. In addition to on-street parking in Conniburrow, alternative parking may be available near Central Milton Keynes Library and the Civic Offices (parking charges apply). *Please note: If you would like to try a Dott e-scooter on a ‘safe riding obstacle course’, attendees must be 18 or over and bring a provisional or full driving licence to the event.
