Replacement trees in Baskerfield Grove

As a result of the 2019 Ward Projects initiative (for further details see here) one of the suggestions for Woughton on the Green was to remove some dead and dying trees along the verge and replace them with a new variety of trees.

Last November ten new trees were delivered to replace the dead and dying trees along the verge in Baskerfield Grove. Old trees were removed and the 5 Juneberry and 5 Chinese Red Birch trees were planted for us by Serco. Tubes were inserted to facilitate watering of the base of the root ball in prolonged dry periods. A job for residents!
