Canal Adoption
You will be pleased to know that we have now received the
certificate of adoption from the Canal and River Trust for our stretch of the Grand Union Canal. This means we work together with the Trust to support their efforts to maintain that part of our Parish and we can have some say in how the area is managed. We have had 2 excellent workdays in June and July and another one is scheduled for 26th August, resulting in more stretches of the towpath being repaired. Thank you to our faithful band of workers.
