Appeal For Witnesses Following Dog Attack With Injury – Willen Lake

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a dog attack with injury in Milton Keynes.

The incident occurred at around 6.45am on Tuesday 9 November on the Redway north of Willen Lake. The victim was cycling when a dog approached her, she stopped to not cause injury to the dog but the dog bit the victim on her leg twice causing puncture wounds. The victim required hospital treatment but has since been discharged.

The dog also caused damage to the victims bicycle. The dog walker is described as a woman wearing a coat and woolly hat. The dog is described as a medium sized breed with short white fur and brown spots.

Investigating officer PC Ellen McQuillan, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I would like to appeal to anybody who may have been in the area and witnessed this attack to please get in touch.
