Rightmove MK Marathon 2019
There was cloud cover and it was a little cool for this year’s Rightmove MK Marathon. Not so good for the hundreds of spectators who watched as the three concurrent races made their way through the parish, but perfect for all the thousands of competitors. The time it took the runners to complete the Old Woughton leg of the races was exactly on schedule. There seemed to be less fancy dress this year, but still plenty of colour and noise as the competitors were roared on as they made the turn past Ye Olde Swan into Newport Road. As in previous year’s the first changeover point for the Marathon Relay was just before the route exits the Green.
